You can create a group on the app to stay connected with other players and coordinate more easily.
How to create a group:
Go to the Friends tab
Tap Create Group
Select the friends you want to add to the group
Tap Next
Enter a group name and select a group photo
Choose whether or not to enable chat notifications for the group
