To join a game on Plei, a valid payment method is required. You can add a credit/debit card or use a mobile wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay).
When you sign up for a game, a temporary hold is placed on your payment method.
You are only charged if the game is confirmed.
If the game is canceled, the hold is automatically released, but it may take time for the change to appear in your bank account depending on your payment provider.
If you add or remove a guest, a new hold may appear. Only the final confirmed amount will be charged.
Payment security
All transactions are securely processed by Stripe, a trusted and industry-standard payment provider. Plei does not store your payment details.
Cancellation Policy
If the game is canceled: You will not be charged.
If you cancel your spot:
Before the game is confirmed: The hold is released. No charge.
After the game is confirmed, more than 5 hours before game time: You won’t get charged.
Between 3–5 hours before game time: You’ll receive a game credit if your spot is filled.
Less than 3 hours before game time: The charge will go through, and no credit is issued.
This policy ensures fairness for all players and helps keep games running smoothly.
